Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory therapist needed for an 8-week travel assignment near Augusta, Georgia. The role delivers specialized respiratory care in a rural hospital setting while collaborating with medical staff and maintaining equipment. The assignment offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized respiratory care and treatment to patients in a rural hospital setting
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and intubation tools
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately within EMR systems
  • Execute emergency procedures, including CPR and assisting with codes for infants to adults
Qualifications:
  • Valid degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Georgia Respiratory License
  • NBRC (RRT/CRT) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Experience with intubations and assisting with intubations
  • Experience with CPR and managing codes for infants to adults
  • Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting
