About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking an Administrative/Program Coordinator to support volunteer operations, event coordination, and community engagement efforts.
Job Description:
The position will oversee volunteer scheduling and communication processes, maintain volunteer data systems, and support community outreach initiatives. This role requires a highly organized professional who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and supporting large-scale volunteer events and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain volunteer scheduling and registration platforms
- Coordinate volunteer communications, confirmations, and scheduling updates
- Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, sponsors, and community partners
- Assist with staffing logistics and operational preparation for volunteer events and build days
- Track volunteer participation metrics and generate periodic reports
- Support volunteer recruitment efforts through outreach events and community partnerships
- Maintain accurate volunteer records, forms, and communication lists
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure successful volunteer experiences
- Assist with event logistics including signage, parking coordination, and onsite support as needed
- Respond promptly to volunteer inquiries via phone, email, and website submissions
- Provide general administrative support for volunteer and community engagement activities
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of volunteer or personnel coordination required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Experience using CRM or volunteer management systems such as Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working in both office and onsite event environments
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and team-focused mindset
- Reliable transportation required
Additional Details:
- Full-time, hourly opportunity
- Standard business hours with occasional evenings and weekends for volunteer events
- Full in person, Monday-Friday
