CV Resources is partnering with an established, rapidly growing financial services organization in the Portland metro area to identify a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional looking to transition into a collaborative, high-performing environment with outstanding long-term growth potential.

We're seeking a technically strong accountant who enjoys owning the month-end close process, partnering across departments, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced organization.

What You'll Do
  • Own key aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Perform technical accounting related to lease transactions and ensure compliance with ASC 842.
  • Prepare financial analyses and variance reporting for leadership.
  • Support annual audits and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate accounting treatment and improve processes.
  • Assist with special projects and help drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Lease accounting (ASC 842) experience is highly preferred.
  • CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close.
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical abilities.
