Job description

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is searching for a Weapons Program Development Analyst to support Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) A5/8. In this role, you will provide requirements development, acquisition support, and program management for advanced weapons systems using the Department of War's Key Operational Problems (KOP) framework.
Your Critical Impact:
• Develop and support requirements and acquisition documentation aligned with the KOP framework.
• Coordinate across AFGSC, ACC, AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, AFNWC, AFRL, and PEO/SPO organizations to advance capability development.
• Provide cradle-to-grave program management for advanced weapons technologies.
• Represent AFGSC A5 in IPTs, HPTs, Threat Working Groups, and other enterprise forums.
• Prepare senior-leader-ready briefings, analysis, and decision materials.
• Support planning, policy development, budgeting, and execution activities for assigned programs.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in acquisitions, requirements, or weapons development.
• Mission-ready bomber or fighter aviator background.
• Experience at MAJCOM, NAF, or HAF level.
• Prior SCI or SAP experience.
• Strong knowledge of USAF weapons, operations, and acquisition processes.
• Understanding of statutory/regulatory policy for acquisition, PPBE, and KOP-based requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior leaders.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
• USAF Weapons School graduate.
• Experience supporting programs from Materiel Solution Analysis through major acquisition milestones (AoA, PDR, CDR, IOT&E).
• DAU requirements certification or HQ-level requirements development experience.
Education
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred; technical or engineering disciplines strongly preferred.
Security Requirements
• Active TS/SCI with investigation within 5 years required.
• Prior SCI or SAP experience required.
• Polygraph and drug testing may be required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
