Job description

Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job: Aircraft General Repair Technician C in Maxwell AFB, AL.

Onsite Job: Aircraft General Repair Technician C 
Work Location: Maxwell AFB, AL
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Shift Expectations: Various, 1st and 2nd shift 
(All Candidates need to be available and able to work all shifts since there is possibility for the shift to change due to program need.)
OT/DOT expected? limited OT,
Travel: No travel known at this time but possible travel to near by Boeing sites
Interview Process: 15 minute phone call
High School Diploma
 
Shift Expectations: Various, 1st and 2nd shift 
1st Shift: 07:00 to 15:30 (Monday – Friday)
2nd Shift: 15:00 to 01:00 (Monday – Thursday)
Some weekend shift available to comp time on Saturdays
 
Job Description:
•    Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components. 
•    Troubleshoots problems to isolate faulty components. 
•    Conducts complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment. 
•    Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents. 
•    Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required. 
•    Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians. Works under general direction.
 
Day to Day Responsibilities: 
•    Primary job will be the maintenance & tracking of GSE (AGE) equipment. 
•    Learning and adapting to unique equipment associated with MH-139. 
•    Secondary will be getting qualified to assist in other flightline operations to assist team needs. 
•    Assists on flight line operations. 
•    Working on weapons repair, running functional tests, and complete inspections to maintain flight schedule.
 
Required Experience:
•    4 years of aviation maintenance experience
•    Military background
•    ability to work in small groups
 
Physical Requirements: 
•    Ability to climb, stand for long duration, lift 40 pounds unassisted, ability to work around hazardous products (aircraft oil, lubricants, solvents)
•    Training will be provided onsite
 
Education Level: High School Diploma.
