Corporate Coverage is an overhead company for several different waste and recycling entities located across various states (IL, IN, TN, MS, FL, TX). We are family owned and operated and our goal is to provide cost efficient, professional recycling services that present significant value for our customers, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and benefit the environment.

We are looking for an HR Generalist to work full-time, onsite at our location in Pilsen, IL.


Responsibilities

  • Assist broadly across HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance
  • Process weekly payroll in Paylocity
  • Support the full employee lifecycle and continually switch gears in performing a variety of tasks
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process including, creating offer letters, initiating background checks, conducting new hire orientation and managing onboarding surveys.
  • Work with talent acquisition, managers/department heads to facilitate performance management and support compliance requests.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team. Autonomously perform routine tasks, continually improving efficiency. Serve as a backup for various general HR and payroll functions.
  • Enter data and ensure the accuracy of our HRIS database. Generate existing and new reports for compliance and useful people insights.
  • Possess general, broad knowledge of Human Resources and excel at administrative tasks (baseline knowledge of Excel and familiarity with HRIS and ATS).
  • Manage employee benefits administration, including partnering with benefit broker and vendors, ensuring high levels of support to employees, developing communications, preparing reports, processing all invoices or other payments, handling system setup or integrations of plans and enrollment
  • Maintain knowledge of current federal, state, and local employment and labor laws and applies this information to remain compliant in daily responsibilities.

  • Ability to work with and learn an HRIS and ATS software (Paylocity)
