What can you expect as a Account Representative with Forged Cigar Company in Greater Atlanta, AL, SC & TN territory?
  • Increase sales in respective accounts, call prospective customers, establish buying cycles, and create a customer/supplier relationship
  • Manage existing business accounts utilizing effective call strategies, conceptual selling, creative problem solving, promotional planning, and merchandising, etc.
  • Develop business partnerships with all classes of trade to promote our market leadership
  • Secure proper distribution with all channels of trade
  • Arrange, manage, and participate in brand-building events in coordination with Events Marketing team
  • Manage and maintain records, files, and reports
  • Operate district within assigned operating budget
  • Prepare sales information for customers
  • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
  • Secure and place orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment
  • Other duties that may become necessary

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree (Business degree preferred)

EXPERIENCE
  • Prior B2B sales experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) is required; experience with luxury/premium CPG is preferred.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Basic consultative sales skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated effective negotiation and closing ability
  • Strong planning and analysis skills, and sound judgment
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to use tablet computers, smartphones, and accessories
  • Ability to reach overhead, bend at the waist, squat, and occasionally lift/carry up to 35 lbs. unassisted
  • Overnight travel will be required, including driving an automobile and travel by aircraft and/or train
  • Satisfactory driving record is required and must be maintained
  • Incumbent must be comfortable with exposure to cigar smoking
