Classic Rock Fabrication is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Strategic Account Manager – Commercial to expand our presence in the commercial construction markets. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, growing market share, and serving as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Classic Rock's commercial and multi-family customer base while increasing revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, property managers, architects, designers, and other industry professionals.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of surfacing products, applications, and industry trends.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Partner with the marketing team to support lead generation initiatives and strengthen brand awareness within the commercial market.
  • Conduct a minimum of 20 high-quality sales visits per week and maintain detailed activity tracking within Salesforce CRM.
  • Host educational roundtable sessions and actively participate in professional networking organizations.
  • Develop customer-focused solutions, including value-engineered product alternatives when appropriate.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide monthly opportunity and forecasting updates.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Estimators to support bids, proposals, and pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and project terms while maintaining profitability objectives.
  • Work closely with Commercial Project Managers, Estimators, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company goals and objectives.
Work Environment
  • Combination of office, remote, customer-facing, and jobsite environments.
  • Frequent local and regional travel to customer locations, project sites, networking events, and industry functions.

Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the countertop, millwork, construction, building materials, or related industry.
  • Proven success in commercial business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Strong understanding of countertop and millwork products, materials, fabrication processes, and specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with the commercial construction project lifecycle from bidding through installation.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience preferred.
