WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - ROTATIONAL DEPENDING ON NEED - 2nd Shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:00am)

Where You'll Work...
You'll be based at our Canal Street facility in Milwaukee's Menomonee River Valley - a state-of-the-art manufacturing site with an on-site bakery, robotic packaging, and a 24-hour shipping and receiving hub. As the Rotational Warehouse Supervisor, you'll support operations across all three shifts, ensuring our ingredients, packaging, and finished goods move efficiently throughout production and distribution.
What You'll Do...
  • Assist as as leader on different shifts depending on business needs and/or for coverage during time off and absences.
  • Support and train warehouse leads to ensure cross-functional coverage and readiness.
  • Oversee staffing levels, material flow, and inventory accuracy to prevent production delays.
  • Conduct safety observations, ensure PPE compliance, and enforce GMP and food safety standards.
  • Perform industrial truck observations and operator coaching; ensure all certifications are current.
  • Address employee performance, attendance, and safety concerns through coaching or discipline when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisors to drive consistency, efficiency, and employee engagement.
  • Monitor and investigate safety incidents, equipment conditions, and process deviations.
  • Generate and review daily/weekly/monthly reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Promote Palermo's culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring...
• 4-6 years of experience leading teams in a food manufacturing or warehouse environment (freezer experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety, warehouse best practices, and GMPs.
• Ability to lead by example, inspire your team, and communicate clearly across shifts and departments.
• A proactive mindset and a calm, organized approach-even when things move fast.
• Working knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems is a plus.
