The E-Commerce Outbound Supervisor II is responsible for leading daily outbound operations in a fast-paced distribution center. This role ensures customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor II will lead a team of 10–50 associates, develop team members through coaching and accountability, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of **10–50 warehouse associates**, ensuring daily operational and customer service goals are achieved.
* Oversee daily outbound operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
* Monitor productivity, quality, attendance, and safety metrics using operational reports and KPIs.
* Coach, motivate, and develop team members through regular feedback, training, and performance management.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and standard operating procedures.
* Analyze operational data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
* Conduct root cause analysis to improve productivity, quality, and operational performance.
* Lead continuous improvement projects from planning through implementation to drive efficiency and operational excellence.
* Collaborate with Inventory, Inbound, Quality, Human Resources, Maintenance, and other cross-functional departments to resolve operational challenges.
* Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external vendors to support business objectives.
* Plan labor allocation and staffing based on business needs and daily workload.
* Maintain accurate operational reports, productivity metrics, and employee performance documentation.
* Communicate daily goals, operational updates, and performance expectations through clear verbal and written communication.
* Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* **3–5 years of leadership experience** in a warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or e-commerce environment.
* Experience supervising teams of **10–50 employees** in a fast-paced operation.
* Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
* Data-driven with the ability to analyze KPIs, productivity, quality, attendance, and safety metrics.
* Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and root cause analysis skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office preferred.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
