Job description

Job Summary Pitney Bowes is hiring for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor at our Salt Lake City, UT Presort facility. Salary range: $54,000โ€“$67,000 annually plus a 6% field bonus. Second Shift: Tuesdayโ€“Friday 5:15pmโ€“1:45am; Saturday 4:00pmโ€“12:30am. Responsibilities Organize mail flow on the production floor by assigning workers and assessing volumes and type of mail based on current staffing levels to meet postal deadlines. Oversee production workers on the designated shift, including interviewing, hiring, training, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. Oversee the quality function throughout the production area and ensure Total Quality Management processes are followed. Assist the Operations Manager with USPS and internal reports, jobโ€costing reports, and application of all USPS postal regulations. Ensure clear and concise communication of pertinent information between shifts. Suggest ways to increase the efficiency of equipment use, working conditions, and employee motivation. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum one year of supervisory experience in presort, mailroom, or an associated industry with familiarity of USPS requirements and/or regulations. Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or mailing industry environment. Strong knowledge of MS Excel and/or MS Access, with basic knowledge of MS Word, internet, and eโ€mail. Ability to lift up to 50lbs (or the maximum allowed by your state), walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time, with or without accommodation.
