Warehouse Administrative Assistant

The Warehouse Administrative Assistant position consists of administrative duties at the North Jackson facility and the Austintown facility, assisting in the printing of DSD pick sheets and pallet tags for customer orders. Verifying and updating item lot codes and expiration dates in Great Plains system. Entering and posting orders for the Gift Baskets in Great Plains. Monitor and correct negative inventory counts in Great Plains. Maintain proper pricing for all unit items in GP. Assist with the month end closing process and reports for monthly scorecards. Assist with warehouse functions when needed. Maintain OSHA manuals as needed and maintain a clean and organized working area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Chep pallet reporting on a daily basis.
  • Verify and update item lot codes and expiration dates in Great Plains (1900 Report)
  • Print pallet tags for customer orders
  • Maintain proper pricing on all unit items
  • Correct all negative quantities weekly for accurate month end reports
  • Assist with Month End Closing processing and reporting Monthly Scorecards for Logistics and Warehousing
  • Assist with Month End processing and reporting/setup & post gift basket invoice
  • Assist in printing DSD Pick Sheets
  • Help with warehouse functions as needed
  • Maintain OSHA manuals as needed
  • All other necessary duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements Necessary to Perform This Job Function: (Educational & Physical)

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have basic computer knowledge
  • Must be able to work extended periods of time at a computer station
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Software. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software a plus
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and organize time accordingly
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a typical office setting; driving a motor vehicle and occasionally working in the field.

FREQUENT: sitting, upward and downward flexion of neck; fine finger dexterity and light to moderate finger pressure to include extended periods of keyboard and mouse use, side-to-side turning of neck, walking, standing, bending and stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting at waist, moderate wrist torque to twist equipment knobs and dials.

OCCASIONAL: squatting, kneeling, reach above and at shoulder height, moderate grasp to manipulate reference books and manuals; lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. from below waist to above shoulders and transporting distances up to 50 feet.

VISION: Ability to see in the normal visual range with or without correction.

HEARING: Ability to hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
