Quality Control Manager

Now hiring: Quality Control Manager | Direct Hire Location: Pinckard, AL Salary: $60,000.00 per year Schedule: Monday-Friday | Shift: 6 AM-4:30 PM Put in the Work, Reap the Rewards: Quality Control Managers Wanted. Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance. At least 2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading quality teams. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO standards (including ISO 9001), and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience with internal audits, CAPA systems, corrective/preventive actions, and non-conformance investigations. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software systems. Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or similar credentials are a plus. Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments strongly preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities & Job Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements. Lead, train, and supervise QC inspectors, technicians, and quality team members. Oversee daily production quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory standards. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and process reviews to identify non-conformances and improvement opportunities. Investigate customer complaints, defects, and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution. Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address root causes and prevent recurrence. Analyze quality data and KPIs to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety requirements, and company quality standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to improve product quality. Conduct supplier quality evaluations and assist with supplier audits and performance monitoring. Develop and deliver employee training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
