Job Title: Warehouse Administrative Assistant
Location: Washington, WV
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Dayshift
Duration: 6-12 months (potential for extension)
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Administrative Assistant to support environmental services and shipping operations at a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. This role plays a key part in coordinating logistics, managing documents, and supporting multiple departments across the site.
Responsibilities:
  • Sort incoming mail
  • Maintain a shipping filing system
  • Process exception notices payable (IPAY)
  • Manage service entry sheets for Site Environmental Services
  • Handle no-charge U.S. and international shipments through FedEx, XPO, and other carriers
  • Ship cylinders and schedule pickups
  • Manage and schedule return requests
  • Order carbon beds for W9
  • Coordinate W9 roll-offs and schedule waste shipments with C&L
  • Communicate with waste vendors on shipments and appointment scheduling
  • Manage CRST fleet operations:
    • Communicate driver schedules based on plant demand
    • Schedule shipments per production priorities and availability
    • Coordinate returning inventory/materials with warehouse operators
    • Manage shipment of AF material
  • Oversee six shuttle trailers for Sardo Reynoldsburg-US08:
    • Schedule shipments and manage inventory movement
    • Communicate changes and updates with warehouse operators
  • Perform other duties as required to support business needs

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to perform a wide range of administrative support tasks
  • Experience supporting multiple departments or leaders
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Quick learner with adaptability to new systems
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage tasks independently and across multiple work groups and locations
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting business needs and responsibilities
