About this opportunity:

Location: Landmark, Manitoba
Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary: Starting wage from $19.00 per hour.
Are you someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety? As a Wash Bay Attendant at Canada Packers, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our transportation equipment is clean, disinfected, and ready for safe use.
This is a physically active role where you’ll contribute directly to our biosecurity and operational goals while working in a supportive, safety-first environment. If you’re reliable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

Working closely with the team, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and sanitation of trucks and trailers. This includes a variety of physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, lifting (up to 25kg), and continuous walking. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Washing and disinfecting trucks and trailers

  • Scraping and cleaning trailer interiors

  • Safely operating lift deck trailers

  • Removing chase boards, shovels, and scrapers from trailers

  • Washing the walls of the wash bay

  • General cleanup of the building and yard

  • Following all biosecurity procedures and company protocols

Skills & Experience:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application. Proof of eligibility may be requested during the recruitment process.
  • Grade 10 education or equivalent

  • Strong commitment to providing exemplary service and maintaining cleanliness standards

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
