Job description

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring Warehouse workers for upcoming work in the province of Alberta.


You will earn:

  • $28.00 per hour
  • 10 hour shifts (possible overtime)
  • Hotel accommodations provided when required
  • $30 per diem when lodging required
  • Contract duration 1-120 days


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for filling, checking and packing orders
  • Assisting in handling of incoming products
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of work area/merchandise
  • Ability to lift up to 50-lbs
  • Operate a powered/electric pallet jack
  • Responsible for moving material by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Follow set productivity standards and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to follow set procedures
  • 1 year of warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment
  • High School graduate or GED equivalency.
  • The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with minimal supervision.
