The Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for coordinating and scheduling production within the facility to ensure that the manufacturing process runs in an efficient manner to meet customer needs.

Day to Day
  • Supervise a team of packing employees, including delegation, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Support the planning, scheduling and execution of the production schedule.
  • Monitor, support, and reinforce health and safety performance in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strict control over finished product inventory levels to meet internal and external demand of product.
  • Manage raw material inventory stock and receiving, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
  • Identify discrepancies between inventory records, investigate root cause, and implement corrective measures.
  • Conduct periodic spot-checks of inventory levels, supplies, or equipment.
  • Manage equipment schedule for maintenance and clean-up for your area of responsibility.
  • Maintain seamless integration with other departments in PHMG.
  • Provide support coverage for other areas as needed.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packing/warehousing environment within a food production facility.
  • 5 years of experience in a Supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership developed through effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft Word and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work in areas with flour dust, noise, vibration, and changing temperatures, and following all PPE requirements.
  • Working knowledge in flour milling operations, packing, and warehousing processes would be an asset.
