Position Summary...The Senior Manager, Global Procurement, develops, leads, and executes high impact sourcing strategies to support Walmart’s rapidly growing Growth organization, including Walmart Connect, Data Ventures, Walmart+, Vizio, and Marketplace.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with business and marketing stakeholders to identify opportunities, source and onboard agencies and partners, lead negotiations, and manage contracts end to end. Your work may range from renegotiating annual agency agreements to leading RFPs for new creative, media, or experiential partners.
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a self starter with a strong understanding of the marketing ecosystem, sound commercial judgment, and a desire to make a tangible business impact.

Global Sourcing & Procurement is a centralized, enterprise wide team supporting all global marketing sourcing and procurement efforts. We partner with business stakeholders through strategic sourcing, industry benchmarking, and negotiations to deliver Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) while driving value across GNFR supplier relationships.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiations, and contract solutions aligned to business objectives, with a strong EDLC mindset.
  • Lead end to end RFP’s in collaboration with business stakeholders. 
  • Drive best in class SOWs, rate cards, and commercial models that balance flexibility with financial discipline.
  • Manage a high volume of contracts and approvals, leveraging AI and tools to move efficiently and meet critical deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with suppliers and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze financial and business data to identify savings opportunities, manage risk, and inform decision making.
  • Create clear, compelling presentations for stakeholders and leadership that translate complex procurement topics into actionable insights. 
  • Navigate multiple priorities and rapidly pivot across projects in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
  • Identify global initiatives by partnering with international markets to leverage Walmart’s scale and better ways of working. 

What you’ll bring:
  • Experience in marketing, sourcing, agency management or supplier negotiations. 
  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years in retail, marketing, retail media, or sourcing with major brands. 
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship building skills. 
  • Ability to independently manage a high volume of projects in a dynamic, fast moving environment. 
  • Experience with tools such as Coupa or similar procurement platforms preferred.
