The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services, is responsible for managing and executing exterior maintenance projects to ensure safe, functional, and sustainable facility environments. This role involves coordinating resources, overseeing third-party providers, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The technician evaluates and implements improvements to reduce operating costs while supporting seasonal maintenance activities and equipment upkeep. Strong collaboration with leadership and facility users is essential to deliver quality service and uphold company standards of integrity, safety, and operational excellence.

What you'll do:
  • Manage and prioritize exterior facility projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Prepare and execute budgets, including cost estimates and purchase approvals for materials and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for procurement and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and resolve customer concerns related to facility exterior services.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles and powered equipment safely, performing routine checks and coordinating repairs.
  • Implement seasonal maintenance tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and shopping cart service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies throughout all operations.
  • Lead and evaluate third-party providers to maintain service quality and efficiency.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven experience managing facility services with a focus on exterior maintenance and project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets, including cost estimation and purchase approvals.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, quality assurance inspections, and resolving customer concerns effectively.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining heavy machinery and powered equipment safely.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching third-party providers and managing workforce priorities.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
