Walmart procurement refers to the process by which Walmart sources, negotiates, and purchases goods and services from suppliers for resale in its stores and online platforms. The procurement team is responsible for supplier selection, cost negotiations, contract management, and ensuring product quality and availability. Their goal is to obtain products at the best value while maintaining high standards for quality and ethical sourcing. This function is crucial for Walmart's supply chain efficiency and cost leadership in the retail industry.
