Job description

Title: VP of Accounting

Salary: $160,000–$180,000
Location: 3 days in Boston

VP of Accounting Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop the accounting team, driving accountability, performance, and process improvement
• Oversee financial reporting, including investor and external reporting requirements
• Manage HUD / residential real estate accounting and compliance
• Partner with the CFO on cash flow, financial strategy, and scaling the finance function

VP of Accounting Qualifications:
• 10+ years of accounting experience within real estate, with residential / HUD exposure highly preferred
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Experience with financial reporting for external stakeholders and investors
• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or Master’s preferred
