The position is responsible for leading a talented team and partner closely with leaders across the Bank. Alongside our CFO, you'll contribute to board reporting, lead critical regulatory submissions, and help build a culture grounded in accuracy, accountability, and constant growth.ย The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $155K and a benefits package.ย  (This is not a remote position).VP Controller responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the full breadth of the Bank's accounting operationsย 
  • Leading the month-end close and ensuring accurate, timely financial reportingย 
  • Preparing quarterly consolidated financial statements and reviewing annual footnotesย 
  • Overseeing all regulatory reporting, including the Call Reportย 
  • Calculating and remitting federal and state income tax paymentsย 
  • Producing monthly Board reportsย 
  • Maintaining strong internal controls while identifying opportunities for efficiency and automationย 
  • Collaborating across departments to support accurate reporting and smooth processesย 
  • Monitoring emerging accounting standards and advising our Audit Committeeย 
  • Coordinating annual insurance reviewย ย 
  • Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing accounting teamย 
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and special projectsย
