Job Summary
The Vice President of Product Management will lead the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of a portfolio of data center containment, airflow management, rack infrastructure, and related power and cooling solutions focused on Hot Aisle and Cold Aisle environments.
This executive will be responsible for driving profitable growth, accelerating innovation, and ensuring market leadership through customer-centric product strategies and rapid iterative product development.
Reporting to executive leadership, this individual will oversee both Product Management and Product Engineering, aligning commercial, technical, and operational priorities to deliver differentiated solutions for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, edge, and AI-driven data center applications.
The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader who has successfully built and scaled global teams, launched innovative products, and delivered measurable business growth within mission-critical infrastructure markets.

This role will directly impact revenue growth, profitability, and long-term company success by developing market-leading products, improving product portfolio performance, and accelerating commercialization efforts. The Vice President will identify new opportunities within rapidly growing data center markets, align engineering investments with customer demand, improve margins through product optimization, and support sustainable business growth through innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Portfolio Management
Develop and execute the company's long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for hot aisle containment, cold aisle containment, airflow management, rack systems, cable management, and adjacent data center infrastructure solutions.
Identify emerging market opportunities driven by AI, high-density computing, sustainability initiatives, liquid cooling adoption, and evolving data center architectures.
Drive portfolio expansion through innovation, market analysis, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic partnerships.
Establish product investment priorities and align them with corporate growth objectives.
Define pricing, positioning, and value proposition strategies to maximize market share and profitability.
Product Development & Engineering Leadership
Lead Product Management and Product Engineering teams responsible for mechanical, electrical, structural, and systems design.
Foster a culture of rapid innovation through agile product development and iterative design methodologies.
Accelerate product commercialization through customer feedback loops, rapid validation cycles, and cross-functional collaboration.
Balance speed-to-market with quality, safety, manufacturability, and cost objectives.
Champion Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives and translate market requirements into successful product solutions.
Drive design standardization, modularity, scalability, and value engineering initiatives.
Ensure engineering resources remain aligned with strategic product priorities and revenue growth objectives.
Leadership & Organizational Development
Build, lead, and develop high-performing domestic and international Product Management and Engineering teams.
Establish scalable global product development processes and governance structures.
Mentor future leaders and promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Successfully manage geographically dispersed teams while ensuring consistent execution and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Manufacturing, and Executive Leadership to support strategic planning and execution.
Support key customer engagements, strategic accounts, and major project opportunities.
Monitor product performance metrics and implement actions to improve market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Align product strategy with commercial objectives and long-term market growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Required Experience
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Product Management, Product Development, Engineering, or related disciplines.
7+ years of senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary product organizations.
Demonstrated success leading and growing domestic and international teams.
Proven track record of developing and commercializing complex infrastructure or engineered products.
Experience managing the full product lifecycle from concept through launch, growth, and maturity.
Strong history of driving revenue growth and market expansion through innovative product strategies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience leading both Product Management and Product Engineering functions.
Experience supporting global manufacturing and supply chain organizations.
Familiarity with data center power, cooling, containment, and emerging AI infrastructure requirements.
Expertise in fast iterative design, agile product development, and rapid prototyping methodologies.
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems within data center environments.
Experience leading geographically dispersed engineering and product teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
