Job description

VP, Product
Role Overview
Ad Results Media (ARM) is building the next-generation operating platform that powers how the agency plans, buys, measures, and reports across audio and emerging channels. Internally known as the ARM Suite, this platform unifies order management, finance connectivity, and - over time - planning, buying, communications, and measurement into a single environment used by ARM, our clients, and our network partners.
We are seeking a Vice President, Product to serve as the internal product owner of the ARM Suite. This role is responsible for product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and governance. The VP, Product will partner closely with Analytics, Engineering, Strategy, Operations, Finance, and Client Services to translate agency and client needs into a durable, scalable product.
This role is both strategic and hands-on. The VP, Product will set long-term product direction while operating in the day-to-day decisions that shape how ARM Suite is built, governed, and adopted.
Platform Ownership & Impact
ARM Suite is transitioning from a vendor-led build to an internally owned product. This role mitigates vendor dependency risk, restores institutional knowledge, and ensures the platform evolves in alignment with how ARM actually wins, retains, and grows business.
The VP, Product will be accountable for ARM Suite as a product - not as a collection of features, dashboards, or vendor deliverables. That means owning the charter, defining what the platform is (and is not), establishing a prioritization framework, and making the trade-offs required to ship a durable system rather than a set of bespoke responses to internal requests.
ARM Suite is, at its core, an API-driven platform. It depends on durable pipelines to media buying systems, measurement partners, finance, network partners, and client-side data sources to keep users in ARM's environment rather than dependent on parallel tools. The VP, Product owns the API and integration strategy that makes this possible.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Roadmap
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end product vision and multi-year roadmap for the ARM Suite, including order management, finance connectivity, planning, buying, communications, and measurement workflows.
  • Translate ARM's commercial strategy, client needs, and partner relationships into a clear product narrative and sequenced roadmap.
  • Define what ARM Suite is, what it is not, and what "done" looks like at each phase, with explicit trade-offs documented for leadership.
  • Own ARM Suite's API and integration strategy, including API pipelines into media platforms, measurement partners, finance and billing systems, network partners, and third-party enrichment sources that keep users inside ARM Suite.

Vendor Reduction & Internal Capability Building
  • Lead the structured reduction of third-party dependency by extracting institutional knowledge, documenting business rules, and transitioning ownership of roadmap and prioritization in-house.
  • Review and approve product designs, scope, and delivery plans proposed by vendors; ensure work aligns to ARM's long-term roadmap
  • Partner with the Senior Data Engineer to ensure clean separation between platform design (Product) and data correctness and pipeline ownership (Engineering / Analytics).
Governance, Prioritization & Intake
  • Establish and operate a product-governed intake and prioritization framework that replaces ad hoc requests with a defensible, transparent process - while preserving fast paths for revenue-critical work.
  • Define and enforce the authority split between Product (system design and prioritization) and Analytics (metric definitions, QA, and interpretation).
  • Document and socialize standards for product decisions, business rules, and platform constraints so they persist beyond individual contributors.
  • Partner with Analytics to operationalize a formal QA delegation model within ARM Suite intake and delivery workflows.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted partner to Analytics & Insights, Reporting, Data Science, Strategy, Planning, Operations, Finance, and Client Services.
  • Bridge the gap between platform capability and agency workflows, ensuring product decisions reflect how ARM teams actually plan, buy, and report.
  • Influence and align senior leaders on roadmap sequencing, trade-offs, and investment cases without relying on positional authority alone.
  • Build a product practice over time - starting solo, with a clear path to scale through hires and contributors as the platform matures.
Client & Partner Orientation
  • Ground product decisions in real client and network-partner needs through structured exposure to top-revenue accounts, partner conversations, and pitch motions.
  • Ensure ARM Suite produces standardized, credible artifacts for sales, planning, and renewal motions rather than bespoke, one-off deliverables.
  • Position ARM Suite as a durable differentiator that creates switching costs and supports long-term client retention and expansion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including senior product leadership (Director, Sr. Director, or VP) at a SaaS, agency-tech, ad-tech, mar-tech, or analytics platform company.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a B2B platform or product line end-to-end - vision, roadmap, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder management.
  • Track record of leading internal product ownership through transitions away from third-party engineering vendors, contractors, or outsourced build partners.
  • Experience operating in environments that combine internal teams with external engineering partners, with a clear philosophy on what should be owned in-house vs. outsourced.
  • Deep, hands-on capability with API-driven product design - including standing up API pipelines, integrating third-party data sources for user-facing enrichment, and shipping products built on APIs from scratch.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in media, advertising, agency, ad-tech, or mar-tech environments, with an understanding of planning, buying, measurement, and client reporting.
  • Familiarity with order management, finance/billing connectivity, and workflow tools that span multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Broad working knowledge of APIs across the advertising, media, and ad-tech ecosystem (e.g., DSPs, programmatic platforms, measurement and attribution partners, audio and CTV systems), with a track record of using them to extend product capability.
  • Comfort working closely with Analytics, Data Engineering, and Data Science functions; able to engage substantively on data models, BI tooling, and measurement frameworks without owning them.
  • Experience standing up product governance, intake frameworks, and prioritization processes in organizations transitioning from ad hoc to durable operating models.
Personal Attributes
  • Strong communicator and executive-level storyteller; can move comfortably between vendor architecture reviews, leadership strategy discussions, and client-facing conversations.
  • Pragmatic and business-oriented, with an appreciation for balancing ideal product strategy with real-world commercial and operational constraints.
  • High ownership mindset; comfortable being the only product leader in the room and building the function from the ground up.
  • Collaborative, curious, and motivated by building durable systems that compound the value of every team they touch.

Ad Results Media is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse perspectives and believe strong product organizations are built at the intersection of operational excellence, business judgment, and a deep understanding of how teams and clients actually work.
