Vice President of Sales

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for our growing portfolio of 65+ hotels across the United States.

This is not a property-level sales position.

This is an executive leadership role responsible for driving portfolio-wide revenue growth, developing exceptional sales leaders, partnering with Revenue Management and Operations, and creating a culture of accountability and performance.

We're looking for a proven hospitality executive who has already demonstrated success leading multi-property sales organizations and is ready to make an enterprise-wide impact.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING)

To be considered, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Current Vice President of Sales OR Regional Director of Sales ready to step into a VP role
  • Multi-property hotel sales leadership experience is required
  • Experience with one or more major hotel brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or IHG
  • Demonstrated success leading Directors of Sales across multiple hotels
  • Strong knowledge of hotel commercial strategy, revenue optimization, and market share growth
  • Ability to travel throughout the portfolio as business needs require

Candidates without hotel industry experience will not be considered.

As Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for the portfolio while partnering closely with Operations, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Executive Leadership.

Commercial Strategy
  • Develop portfolio-wide sales strategies that drive profitable revenue growth
  • Increase market share, RevPAR, ADR, and overall commercial performance
  • Analyze market trends and identify new revenue opportunities
  • Build a proactive, performance-driven sales culture
Sales Leadership
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing Directors of Sales
  • Establish consistent sales processes and portfolio best practices
  • Drive accountability through coaching and performance management
  • Build succession plans and strengthen leadership capability across the organization
Revenue Partnership
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management to align pricing and sales strategy
  • Optimize business mix, group pace, and account production
  • Protect rate integrity while maximizing profitability
  • Ensure Sales and Revenue Management operate as one commercial team
Business Development
  • Expand corporate, national, regional, and local business opportunities
  • Strengthen relationships with ownership groups, brands, and strategic partners
  • Support hotel openings, acquisitions, and brand transitions
  • Increase Blue Sky's visibility within the hospitality industry
Operational Partnership
  • Collaborate with hotel leadership to ensure flawless execution of client commitments
  • Align Operations and Sales around exceptional guest experiences
