We have an exciting opportunity for a Vice President (VP), Global Franchise Head, Radioconjugates. This role is part of our Global Oncology Franchise Team and supports AstraZeneca's mission to transform oncology treatment and improve patient outcomes.

Reporting to the SVP, Global Head, Oncology Franchise and as a member of the Global Oncology Leadership Team, this VP, Global Franchise Head, Radioconjugates leads the development and delivery of the Franchise business plan and strategy worldwide. They focus on improving revenue and earnings while advancing the overall Oncology commercial goals, ultimately providing life-changing care to patients. The position has full responsibility for the Radioconjugates Franchise globally, including revenue and overarching commercial strategy.

The VP, Global Franchise Head, Radioconjugates will lead the global strategy, commercialization, and launch of a pivotal oncology franchise, helping shape the future of cancer care. Working across R&D, Medical, Market Access, Business Development, Diagnostics, and regional teams, the role will drive near- and long-term growth by identifying commercial and clinical opportunities, assessing market dynamics, and strengthening AstraZeneca's leadership in radioconjugates.

Accountabilities

  • Partnering with early R&D and Late Development Oncology, working across therapeutic areas and development stages to shape commercial strategy and support late-stage development, launch planning, and lifecycle management for radioconjugates.

  • Driving a clear scientific and commercial narrative while working alongside cross-functional teams to ensure strong articulation of value, differentiation, and patient impact.

  • Accountable for overall radioconjugates commercial strategies across all indications, including launch planning and long-term franchise development.

  • Develop resources and programs to support global launches and ensure markets are equipped for successful execution.

  • Deliver and execute Phase III/pre-launch market shaping and execution plans to support launch readiness and optimize adoption.

  • Lead and deliver commercial strategy for multiple additional indications through lifecycle management and indication expansion planning.

  • Work with the extended team to deliver a sustainable pricing and access strategy across multiple indications, including evidence generation and value demonstration.

  • Work alongside regions and markets, with strong emphasis on the US, to support market shaping and launch excellence activities.

  • Lead cross-functional global teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery across Medical, Market Access, Diagnostics, and regional organizations.

  • Drive market-shaping initiatives, partnerships, and innovative approaches to patient care and value creation in radioconjugates.

  • Engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders to accelerate strategic priorities and enable successful commercialization globally.

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing global commercial team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or life sciences), advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MD or equivalent) preferred.

  • 20+ years of biopharmaceutical commercial leadership experience, including large P&L accountability and successful oncology product launches and commercialization.

  • Deep expertise in oncology drug development and commercialization, with strong experience relevant to radioconjugates from late-stage development through launch.

  • Consistent track record developing and executing global commercial strategy, launch readiness, lifecycle management, and long-range portfolio planning.

  • Strong US and global marketing leadership experience, including building compelling commercial strategies and business cases in complex specialty care markets.

  • Demonstrated success leading large cross-functional and matrixed organizations, influencing enterprise-wide decisions, and driving execution across global markets.

  • Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory pathways, pricing and access, diagnostics, and healthcare ecosystem considerations relevant to oncology commercialization.

  • Proven track record of attracting and developing diverse teams and optimizing team performance in direct and matrixed leadership roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading high-impact global and local market-shaping initiatives that accelerate adoption and commercial performance.

  • Experience across both global and in-market commercial organizations, with direct exposure to major market launches and growth brands.

  • Sales or other customer-facing commercial leadership experience.

  • Deep understanding of global healthcare systems, market access and policy environments, with broad knowledge of the oncology ecosystem, including healthcare providers, payers, diagnostics partners, and strategic alliance/licensing stakeholders.

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $329,683.20 - 494,524.80 USD. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives-an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles. Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
