The primary responsibility of the Senior Vice President of Resident Experience (SVPRE) is to enhance all aspects of how our residents live and thrive in our communities by providing provide executive leadership with strategic vision, and operational oversight for Resident Services across all communities. The SVP, Resident Experience ensures enterprise-wide consistency in quality of care, regulatory compliance, and service delivery while driving performance, innovation, and sustainable growth in service revenues.
The SVP, Resident Experience also leads the strategic direction and performance of resident dining services and lifestyle programming, advancing a fully integrated, hospitality-driven model that enhances the resident experience, supports brand differentiation, and drives resident satisfaction and retention.
Areas of Responsibility
  • Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, collaborating with corporate and operational leaders to drive organizational strategy, service excellence, occupancy growth, and financial performance.
  • Establish and uphold enterprise-wide standards for dining operations and lifestyle programming, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Provide executive oversight and strategic direction for dining services, elevating culinary quality, hospitality standards, nutrition programs, and innovation to create a best-in-class resident dining experience.
  • Lead the vision and execution of lifestyle and engagement programming, ensuring programs are meaningful, data-driven, and aligned with resident needs across Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), and Memory Care (MC).
  • Drive a culture of hospitality, service excellence, and continuous improvement, integrating care, dining, and lifestyle services into a seamless, high-quality resident experience.
  • Oversee performance metrics related to resident satisfaction, engagement, service delivery, and revenue optimization; implement strategies to improve outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to resident care, dining, and safety standards, including infection control, sanitation, and life safety.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Resident Experience leadership and functional leaders in dining and lifestyle services, building strong leadership pipelines and accountability across the organization.
  • Conduct executive-level community reviews and audits to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with organizational standards and strategic priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical and operations to support growth initiatives, new developments, and service innovation.
  • Ensure the physical appearance and environments of our communities are consistent with our brand standards and meet the expectations of our residents.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, master's degree preferred.
  • Seven (7) to ten (10)+ years of progressive leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, or a related field, including multi-site operational oversight.
  • Demonstrated executive leadership experience in resident experience, hospitality, dining operations, and/or lifestyle programming within a complex organization.
  • Strong track record of driving operational performance, quality outcomes, and resident satisfaction across multiple communities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time or as needed.
