Summary:

Mujin is the future of industrial robotic systems in production and distribution environments. Our technology gives robots perception and awareness, enabling them to take on more advanced tasks. We aim to revolutionize the use of robotics within industry to free human resources from labor-intensive tasks to focus on more intellectual challenges.

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to build real-time, operational user interfaces for robotics and warehouse automation systems. This is a senior IC role with scope for technical leadership. You will design and implement scalable cloud services that are integrated with advanced robotics systems. This role is ideal for developers passionate about elevating user experience through creative designs, cloud technologies, system programming, and robotics innovation.

Position Description:

  • Build advanced web applications using React, MUI and TypeScript
  • Develop real-time dashboards for warehouse operations and robotics fleets
  • Build control interfaces for monitoring and managing automation systems
  • Integrate frontend systems with backend APIs (RESTful,
    GraphQL,
    gRPC, WebSockets)
  • Visualize real-time telemetry and operational data from robots and sensors
  • Collaborate with backend and infrastructure teams on system design
  • Optimize frontend performance for real-time, high-frequency data updates
  • Collaborate with backend and DevOps teams on cloud-connected architectures
  • Contribute to UI architecture and engineering standards
  • Mentor junior developers and set the bar for code quality, system design, and documentation standards

Position Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent

5+ years of experience in the following:

  • Strong experience with React, MUI and TypeScript
  • Experience integrating real-time APIs (WebSockets, gRPC, RESTful, GraphQL)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) in a frontend context
  • Strong understanding of frontend architecture and performance optimization
  • Experience working in cloud-connected applications
  • Ability to design scalable and data-intensive UI systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and to global stakeholders across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with authentication (OAuth, SAML) and cloud-based APIs
  • Experience with real-time data pipelines or event-driven systems
  • Cloud certifications preferred (especially AWS, e.g., Solutions Architect or Developer)
  • Experience with robotics, industrial automation, or warehouse systems
