Job description

As our Software Engineer - Digital, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day.

The impact you’ll have at Concora Credit:

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer who excels in front-end development to help deliver our next generation of web and mobile-based products. You are equally comfortable crafting polished front-end experiences as you are building the APIs and back-end services that power them. You are a forward and innovative thinker with transformative project experience and a successful track record of collaboration as a cross-functional team member. Your ability to thrive within the Agile framework with a commitment to continuous improvement is essential. You are delivery-focused, with experience across multiple technology stacks, and can present different solutions and approaches when building customer-facing applications. You have practical, real-world experience building robust, scalable solutions, and you can both teach and learn from your teammates.

We hire people, not positions. That's because, at Concora Credit, we put people first, including our customers, partners, and Team Members. Concora Credit is guided by a single purpose: to help non-prime customers do more with credit. Today, we have helped millions of customers access credit. Our industry leadership, resilience, and willingness to adapt ensure we can help our partners responsibly say yes to millions more. As a company grounded in entrepreneurship, we're looking to expand our team and are looking for people who foster innovation, strive to make an impact, and want to Do More! We’re an established company with over 20 years of experience, but now we’re taking things to the next level. We're seeking someone who wants to impact the business and play a pivotal role in leading the charge for change.

As our Software Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, secure, scalable, and reusable front-end solutions that build customer trust and loyalty in our brand
  • Actively participate in the definition, design, and delivery of new and existing products
  • Quickly understand requirements and analyze existing resources to create, enhance, maintain, and support customer-facing experiences across web and mobile
  • Produce user experiences reflective of wireframes, mockups, and the corporate style guide
  • Apply industry best practices, including SEO optimization, accessibility, and performance, to every solution you ship
  • Own the quality of your work through testing, debugging, and proactive support
  • Maintain an ownership mentality for your team's products end-to-end
  • Partner with your teammates to ensure secure, quality, and scalable solutions are delivered

These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

We know experience comes in many forms and that many skills are transferable. If your experience is close to what we're looking for, consider applying. Diversity has made us the entrepreneurial and innovative company that we are today.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional software development experience with a strong front-end focus
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React and React Native
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing as part of a quality-first development culture
  • Full-stack capability with hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core API development backed by relational or document-based database
  • Experience delivering scalable solutions on a major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Demonstrated commitment to code quality through test coverage, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required
  • 4-year degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience desired

What’s In It For You:

  • Medical, Dental and Vision insurance for you and your family
  • Relax and recharge with Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 6 company-observed paid holidays, plus 3 paid floating holidays
  • 401k (after 90 days) plus employer match up to 4%
  • Pet Insurance for your furry family members
  • Wellness perks including onsite fitness equipment at both locations, EAP, and access to the Headspace App
  • We invest in your future through Tuition Reimbursement
  • Save on taxes with Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Peace of mind with Life and AD&D Insurance
  • Protect yourself with company-paid Long-Term Disability and voluntary Short-Term Disability
