JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for ensuring all visual integrity elements within Food & Beverage and Merchandise locations at Universal Kids Resort (UKR) are maintained according to the Visual Guidelines. Serves as liaison between the Operations teams and Visual Merchandising team as it relates to proper visual presentation of product, hardware supplies and product levels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as direct support to the Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager by assisting in tasks associated with projects, displays, merchandise sets, and events related to the Visual Merchandising Department including implementation of displays, documentation of displays, and recordkeeping of plans.
  • Assists in maintaining food and merchandise store/venue sets, displays, props and windows to include refreshing props, painting, basic scenic work, repairs, installations, measurements, deliveries and cleaning.
  • Assists leadership with store/venue floor sets. Ensures plans are followed as directed by Visual Merchandising and management.
  • Ensures that design, quality, brand and IP standards are consistently followed and that the executed display aligns with the provided plan. Under leadership's guidance, conducts spot checks of displays during their lifecycle to ensure standards are maintained and reports any issues requiring repair. Provides status updates to leadership on findings and progress of repairs, changes, etc.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.

  • Knowledge of the basic industry related tools and the proper use of each.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of theme park, resort or national retail experience required; experience with visual displays preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
