Blackfin, LLC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the financial and operational management of a portfolio of commercial properties.

This is an opportunity to work closely with experienced Property and Asset Management professionals while gaining hands-on experience in tenant relations, lease administration, vendor management, work orders, financial reporting, contracts, and capital projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate tenant requests, work orders, vendors, maintenance, and property operations.
  • Track open work orders, proposals, approvals, invoices, and project documentation through completion.
  • Assist with lease administration, tenant billings, accounts receivable, budgets, and financial reporting.
  • Manage purchase orders and review vendor invoices for accuracy, approvals, and supporting documentation.
  • Track service, maintenance, and project contracts, including renewals and expirations.
  • Support tenant improvements, repairs, construction, and capital projects from bidding through closeout.
  • Maintain organized property, vendor, lease, and project records.
  • Communicate with tenants, vendors, building technicians, and internal team members to resolve issues and keep projects moving.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

  • We’re looking for someone who is organized, proactive, professional, and accountable—someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and follow tasks through to completion.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equilavent expereience with 2+ years minimum of commercial real estate experience 
  • Experience with commercial property management, tenant relations, lease administration, facilities, vendors, or construction projects
  • Familiarity with budgets, invoices, purchase orders, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Experience with Yardi Property Management, Yardi Procure-to-Pay, Yardi Construction Manager, or Yardi Facility Manager is strongly preferred
  • VA or GSA lease experience is a plus
