As an LCSW at our center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of each client, fostering individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique experiences of each young individual and their families.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, fully adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive client information.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, educational professionals, and other specialists to ensure the delivery of well-rounded holistic care.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings, enhancing your clinical capabilities and contributing to the continuous improvement of our therapeutic services.
• Providing education and support for clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and navigating available community resources, empowering them in their recovery process.
• Staying informed on the latest research and trends in the mental health field to continually improve the care you provide, ensuring your clients receive the best possible support.

You will primarily serve a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related disorders. Understanding the unique dynamics of each family system will be crucial in delivering effective, client-centered care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, which signifies a strong academic foundation.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas, showcasing your professional qualifications.
• At least three years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, ideally with expertise in school-based social work.
• A sound knowledge of solution-based therapeutic interventions, allowing for personalized care strategies that meet the individual needs of clients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong, therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

• Experience working specifically within school settings or community mental health environments.
• Familiarity with educational systems and how to effectively collaborate with teachers and administrators to provide the best support for students.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools to effectively engage clients remotely.
