Compensation $50k-$65K Position Summary: The individual will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance of laptops, desktops, virtual desktops, mobile devices, applications and peripherals. Researches complex problems, identifies specifications, installs software/hardware and tests computing systems and peripherals within established guidelines. Requirements: Five years of work experience providing hands on support. Technical Degree/Associate’s Degree desired but not required. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, O365, Office Suite, and MacOS. Enterprise Desktop Management experience with tool such as Service Now and SCCM. Ability to provide remote support for offsite users. Experience with TCP/IP based services (DHCP, DNS, HTTP), networks (LAN/WAN, Wireless, VPN), and telephone switches. Scripting experience a plus. Excellent customer service skills. US Citizen or Green Card required. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of computers, peripheral equipment, and software. Interact with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software. Ensures computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administration systems. Work with procurement staff to purchase hardware, software, computer supplies. Manage and documents service desk que for tickets and escalations. Provides after hours and weekend support as needed.
