Compensation: $21/hr
We are seeking a dynamic and relationship-focused Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for professional, skilled, and leadership roles across a diverse portfolio of departments within our theme park organization. This role plays a critical part in attracting top talent who help create exceptional guest experiences and support operational excellence behind the scenes.
What you get to do:
  • Assist in creating innovative search strategies that will identify and attract the best talent
  • Grow and develop relationships with hiring managers to fully understand and analyze talent needs
  • Consult hiring managers on employment market conditions to assist them in making hiring decisions
  • Screen candidates for skilled/professional positions and submit the most qualified candidates to hiring managers via phone/virtual (Teams)/onsite.
  • Subject matter expert on all recruiting related topics (ex: compensation, interview process, onboarding etc.)
  • Ensure application and interview processes comply to minimize company risk and liability
  • Schedule and coordinate video/phone/onsite interviews for Hiring Manager(s)
  • Post to job boards to promote role(s) on LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, etc., as needed
  • Assist in onboarding new hires which includes background clearance, scheduling required trainings and orientation, and ensure new hire(s) are set up for success
  • Assist with interviewing and processing during peak season, including all frontline positions
  • Assist with front desk coverage and duties.
  • Partner with Human Resources Business Partner and Employee Relations leaders
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with Ambassadors, Vendors, and our Guests to promote a positive company brand and image
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What it takes to succeed:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in recruitment, for leisure, hospitality, or entertainment industry, preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
  • Experience working in a fast paced / high volume environment
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience sourcing talent and driving applications
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Experience working with recruiting and people-related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems or resume databases, preferred

What else is important:
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights, if needed
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
  • Perform cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicals
  • Available 8:30am - 5pm Monday through Friday and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays per business needs.
