Overview

Position Summary 

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the dealership. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming, professional environment by greeting guests, directing inquiries, managing incoming calls, recording social media video and supporting administrative functions for the dealership. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a busy automotive environment. 

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities 

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally as they enter the dealership.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multiline phone system.
  • Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate department or team member. 
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times. 
  • Provide general information to customers regarding dealership hours, services, and processes. 
  • Log customer visits or inquiries as required and notify staff of customer arrivals.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, and distributing mail. 
  • Support sales and service teams by coordinating customer messages and follow-up requests.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all customer interactions.
  • Recording, editing social media videos
  • Uphold dealership and OEM standards for customer service and presentation. 
  • All other duties as assigned by leadership.

 Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, friendly demeanor with a strong customer service orientation. 
  • Ability to multitask and manage busy phone and walk-in traffic. 
  • Proficiency with phone systems, computers, and basic office software (Outlook, Word, Excel). 
  • Strong organization and time management skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively with a team and maintain a positive attitude. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
