Job description

DCS has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager/Executive Admin Support providing support to Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM).

Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. C3BM's main efforts are Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime and multiple acquisitions consisting of both the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space.

The DAF BATTLE NETWORK is the integrated system-of-systems fusing sensors, effectors, and sustainment grids to build situational awareness, make operational decisions, and direct the force to create needed lethal and nonlethal effects in support of the Joint Force Commander's scheme of maneuver. The DAF PEO C3BM has the responsibility of technically and programmatically integrating the DAF's larger system-of-systems architecture needed to deliver an integrated Command and Control (C2) core function for the DAF, Joint, and Coalition forces, by teaming with all other DAF PEOs, as needed.

This is a full-time position located at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH and this role is 100% onsite.

Essential Job Functions: 

Ensures the leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the directorate.

Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.

Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events.

Drafts documents for the approval and signature of leadership.

Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization.

Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings and in support office staff and external participates.

Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy.

Documentation may include but is not limited to attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of the customer, U.S. citizenship is required.

Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed and 3+ years of experience with specific experience in a DoD setting.

Defense Travel System (DTS).

Microsoft Outlook calendar management and scheduling.

SharePoint administration and document management.

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Meeting coordination, action item tracking, and executive-level administrative support.

Experience supporting DoD program office operations.

Travel may be required per the customer's discretion.
