Job description

This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. The incumbent serves as Registrar and performs a variety of duties which include the full management responsibilities of all museum objects and their records.Qualifications:

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:
Specialized Experience for the GS-11
grade level is defined as one year of experience at the GS-09 grade level, or equivalent, that is typically in or related to the position and which equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience:

  • Using museum databases to catalog historical artifacts; AND
  • Assisting in placing objects of historical or cultural significance into physical and/or virtual museum exhibits. AND
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing loans and write condition reports.
