This position operates within a fully remote telehealth setting, promoting flexibility and accessibility for both therapists and clients. • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to address a wide spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological and emotional needs and subsequently develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique situation.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling to assist clients and their families in understanding and navigating mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including, but not limited to, psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive client records in adherence to ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Stay current with the latest research, methodologies, and trends in mental health counseling to enhance professional practice and improve client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through regular supervision, training sessions, and workshops to continually enhance counseling skills and knowledge.

Our clients encompass a diverse range of individuals from various ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, including adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health issues. The complexities of our client's experiences call for counselors who are empathetic, culturally competent, and skilled in addressing the unique needs of each individual and setting them on a path to recovery and empowerment.

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills applicable to counseling and therapy.
• Possession of an independent LPC license issued by the state board, allowing for the provision of professional counseling services.
• Proficient in maintaining clinical documentation, preparing case notes, and generating reports, ensuring accuracy in tracking client progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team setting, contributing to a culture of shared care and mutual support.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate thoughts, ideas, and treatment approaches clearly and effectively.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills, allowing for independent case assessments based on professional knowledge.

• Demonstrated clinical experience providing counseling services, particularly to diverse populations with varying mental health needs.
• A background in trauma-informed care or specific modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR is highly desirable.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and understanding of the nuances of virtual counseling.
