About the Role
Guardian Properties LLC is searching for a fantastic Leasing Agent. This role plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations by helping fill vacancies, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time non-exempt position, well-suited for someone who is tech-savvy, personable, and highly organized. No prior leasing experience is necessary-we provide full training to set you up for success. Previous experience in customer service is preferred, as it helps ensure a smooth and positive experience for prospective and current residents.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
  • Prepare units for showings and move-ins.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
  • Utilize digital platforms to manage scheduling, applications, and communications.

Customer Service
  • Greet and assist prospective renters in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide accurate information on availability, pricing, and leasing terms.
  • Respond to phone, email, and online inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Deliver high-quality service throughout the pre-move-in process.

Leasing & Marketing
  • Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual property tours.
  • Showcase community features and apartment amenities during tours.
  • Guide applicants through the rental application and leasing process.
  • Prepare and explain lease agreements and documentation.
  • Manage online listings and keep marketing materials up to date.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media and community outreach.

Administrative Duties
  • Collect and document application fees, deposits, and rent payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, and lease agreements.
  • Update leasing software and databases (Excel experience preferred; training provided).
  • Support reporting activities, including daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.

Resident Relations & Communication
  • Assist with lease renewals and move-in coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations (training provided).
  • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.

Requirements
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience & Skills
  • No prior leasing experience required-comprehensive training provided.
  • Customer service or sales experience is a plus.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile apps, and online platforms.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; willingness to learn new tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management.
  • Friendly, dependable, and self-motivated.
