Job description

Position Description This position provides quality supervision of members and guests utilizing the fitness center. Essential Job Functions Ensure all patrons are utilizing equipment safely and properly. Enforce fitness center rules.

Greet customers, offer assistance with equipment, answer questions, promote programs and address concerns. Clean, inspect, inventory and organize fitness equipment in fitness center, studio and other areas of the building. Monitor and pick up in locker rooms.

Conduct orientations, assessments and facility tours. Support instructors and and customers with class reservations. Set up and tear down for fitness classes.

Contact new members or vendors, set up orientations, market programs and respond to customer inquiries via email and phone. Print and proof room schedules, rosters, flyer's and signs. Assist with special fitness related events.

Check customers in for personal training. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older and maintain current CPR/AED/First Aid as well as 2+ years of post secondary education or experience coaching or in a health, fitness or related field. Experience utilizing Customer Service Inquiry or scheduling software, Office 365, virtual software such as Zoom or MS Teams and Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Preferred qualification includes a nationally recognized certification in personal training or fitness instruction, or plans to certify after hiring. Supplemental Information Shifts are 2-6 hours per day up to 20 hours per week. Available hours include 7am-8pm M-Th, 7am-5pm Fri and 7:30am-12pm Sat.
