Applicant must be 16 to apply.

Evidence of relationship building with youth.
Evidence of specific sport or program knowledge and experience.
Evidence of initiative taking and self-directing
Pay Rate/Range: $15.02/hr.-$16.37/hr.
Compensation/Benefits/Perks: This position is not eligible for benefits.

Responsibilities:
-Instructors will attend staff training on the evening of June 3rd
-Instructors will follow the lead of the program supervisor, and will assist with programming.
-Instructors will arrive early, know and fully execute the plan for each day, engage 100% throughout the program, teach general disciplines of each activity, enhance skill development, build relationships with youth, and communicate as needed with parents/guardians.
-Instructors will show enthusiasm and create fun, positive experiences through words, actions, and non-verbal's.
-Instructors will keep track of time worked and record on timesheet.
-Instructors will openly communicate with the recreation coordinator, in a timely manner, regarding vacation requests, program issues, etc.
-Instructors will be required to fill in for up to two Saturday swim lessons or two evening swim lessons (if aquatics staff).
