Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team and provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors. The Receptionist will be responsible for managing the front desk, answering and routing calls, and handling a variety of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Guest Experience

  • Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive first impression
  • Check clients in and out efficiently
  • Answer questions about services, pricing, promotions, and policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Phone, Text & Email Communication
  • Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails promptly and professionally
  • Schedule, confirm, and modify appointments
  • Manage waitlists, cancellations, and sameday openings
  • Route messages to the appropriate staff members
Scheduling & Front Desk Operations
  • Use booking software to manage daily schedules
  • Prevent doublebooking and ensure smooth service flow
  • Notify staff of client arrivals and schedule changes
  • Assist with coordinating walkins and lastminute requests
Payments & Transactions
  • Process payments accurately (cash, card, digital payments)
  • Handle refunds, deposits, and gift card sales
  • Balance the register at the end of each shift
Administrative Support
  • Maintain client records and update contact information
  • Assist with inventory tracking and product restocking
  • Prepare daily reports or logs as needed

    • Experience or training cosmetology, massage, nail, or esthetics, also a plus
