Job Summary: The Event Marketing Manager owns the strategy, planning, execution, and performance visibility for ScriptPro’s event marketing program, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, roundtables, workshops, customer/prospect visits, and select internal events where Marketing owns the experience. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Marketing leadership to align events with customer engagement, opportunity movement, lead capture, follow-up discipline, and business value. The role requires a hands-on event operator who can manage details while helping ScriptPro make events a more intentional, measurable, Sales-aligned Marketing channel.

Reporting Relationship: Director, Marketing

Shift: General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires four on-campus days per week, with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end event marketing lifecycle, including event strategy, planning, logistics, vendor management, execution, lead process, and post-event reporting
  • Plan and execute a range of in-person and virtual experiences, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, roundtables, workshops, customer/prospect campus visits, and select internal events where Marketing owns the experience
  • Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing leadership, and other cross-functional teams to define event goals, audience priorities, messaging needs, attendee planning, and follow-up expectations
  • Manage event timelines, vendor commitments, assets, deadlines, and cost inputs to support consistent execution and better event investment visibility
  • Improve lead capture quality, Salesforce campaign tracking, CRM handoff, and Sales follow-up visibility to support accurate tracking and timely post-event action
  • Establish clear event goals, success metrics, and post-event reporting practices to help Marketing evaluate event performance and recommend improvements
  • Support customer and prospect conversations tied to events, including voice-of-customer capture, customer interview opportunities, and post-event insight gathering
  • Participate in on-site event execution, including travel to key trade shows, conferences, and customer events, and other in-person engagements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in event marketing
  • Experienced leading full-cycle event execution for trade shows and conferences, with a strong background in vendor coordination, contract negotiation, and budget oversight
  • Strong understanding of event strategy, including goal setting, audience targeting, and engagement planning
  • Experience partnering with Sales to align marketing efforts with pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Proficient with lead capture tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and campaign tracking workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to support trade shows, conferences, customer events, and other in-person engagements
  • Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing event performance and translating insights into actionable improvements
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage timelines, assets, and logistics in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within team environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the organization professionally in all interactions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting events for complex B2B technology, healthcare, pharmacy, or enterprise software organizations
  • Knowledge of ScriptPro products and services
