POSITION SUMMARY
An Andretti Host is a part-time role responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in a friendly and positive manner.
  • Meet, greet and seat Guests to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Make fair and consistent decisions on seating for Guests and parties.
  • Provide information regarding all aspects of the restaurant and company including specials.
  • Tend to guest special needs and request including making sure service staff and kitchen are aware of allergies.
  • Assist with delivering food to Guests
  • Support the Busser department in set up, breakdown and cleaning of tables.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assist with Guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Constant working knowledge of Andretti brand, product and policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Prior guest service or hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
Skills & Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • The desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat and sociable throughout the workday.
  • Be able to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, holidays and weekends.
