We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Attorney Recruiting Assistant to join our team at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP. In this role, you will provide administrative, analytical, and operational support across student recruitment, the summer associate program, lateral associate hiring, and special recruiting projects. The Attorney Recruiting Assistant will support a seamless candidate experience and data-informed execution of recruiting initiatives.
This position requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment. The primary responsibilities, qualifications, and capabilities for this role include the following:
Student Recruitment & Summer Associate Program Support
- Provide administrative and logistical support for student recruitment activities, including on-campus interviews, resume collections, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Assist with coordination and execution of the summer associate program, including orientation materials, event logistics, tracking participation, and supporting program evaluations.
- Maintain accurate records of student candidates, interview evaluations, and summer program participation in the recruiting database and tracker.
- Support post-season and post-program evaluations by compiling feedback, survey results, and key metrics.
- Support communications with law schools, career services offices, and student candidates as directed by the recruiting team.
Lateral Associate Recruitment Support
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics for lateral associate candidates, including interviewers, meeting rooms, and virtual interview details.
- Prepare and distribute interview materials and collect interviewer feedback.
- Assist with candidate communications throughout the interview process, including scheduling, follow-up, and status updates.
- Support offer and onboarding processes by coordinating documentation and internal notifications.
Administrative, Operations, Data Reporting & Special Projects
- Provide general administrative support to the Attorney Recruiting team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain recruiting trackers, templates, and documentation to support consistent and efficient processes.
- Assist with recruiting-related invoices, expense tracking, and vendor coordination
- Prepare regular and ad hoc recruiting reports and dashboards, including pipeline activity, interview volume, offer status, and program participation.
- Assist with data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in recruiting processes and outcomes.
Qualifications & Capabilities
- 3+ years of administrative, recruiting, data coordination, or professional services support experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail, particularly with data accuracy and reporting.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with data, reports, and spreadsheets to support recruiting analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This is a hybrid role and will require on-site presence 3 days per week. The salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $60,000 - $75,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors.
