Location: Lakewood, CO
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year
Target Fill Date: August 1, 2026
Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) is seeking a full-time Videographer at our vibrant campus in Lakewood, Colorado. This will be a hybrid position, with a minimum of 2 days per week on campus plus event attendance, with occasional night or weekend availability. The videographer will be an accomplished visual storyteller, communicator, and collaborator.
This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit videos for the RMCAD website, social media, advertising, admissions, and events. It will also require occasional photography work and will serve as a backup to the primary RMCAD Photographer as needed.
The Multimedia Producer creates compelling video and visual storytelling that builds awareness of RMCAD, supports marketing and admissions initiatives, and enhances the student experience by authentically communicating the value of an RMCAD education.
Essential Duties + Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to plan, coordinate, shoot, and edit videos for a variety of uses (advertising, admissions, social media, website, etc).
  • Work alongside the marketing team to develop and implement content from brainstorming through production.Work with the Social Media Coordinator to interview students, alumni, faculty, and staff and develop compelling stories.
  • Develop narrative videos that authentically reflect the RMCAD brand and student experience.
  • Conduct interviews while filming.
  • Manage RMCAD's YouTube channel.
  • Prepare and deliver vertical video edits for use across social media platforms.
  • Produce and maintain short informational videos (programs, admissions, financial aid, etc.)
  • Ensure all videos meet the latest accessibility and legal guidelines.
  • Work on tight deadlines to deliver content quickly when needed.
  • Run video content through the internal review process.
  • Maintain a library of videos and photography.
  • Maintain video equipment and recommend updates or replacements as needed.
  • Attend and film events and ceremonies.
  • Serve as a back-up for the staff photographer when needed.
  • Behaviors and Attitudes reflect RMCAD's Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in videography, photography, arts and media, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a professional videographer.
  • Ability to plan and execute interview lighting setups for a variety of environments
  • Knowledge of social media best practices.
  • Expertise with Davinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Additional experience with Adobe Audition, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop is desirable.
  • Portfolio of video work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and collaboration/communication skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience with motion graphics

Additional Information:
This position will be hybrid and located in Lakewood, CO.
Less than 10% travel will be required.
A video portfolio is required for consideration.
Working Conditions + Physical Demands:
The work environment is a typical office environment which may include moderate noise, some evening or weekend hours, confined workspaces, fast work pace with unscheduled interruptions, the need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and extensive time sitting and working with computers.
