Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic team member to join our company as a Videographer/Editor. As an arm of our video production team, you will create video content and assets for use across a wide variety of media, including social media, mobile platforms, and emerging media. You will work with a larger team of creative professionals, supporting company goals and marketing initiatives, meaning that a collaborative mindset is an absolute must. Our ideal candidate is an expert in the Adobe Creative Suite - AfterEffects and Premiere, most notably - and also possesses a strong cinematography mindset to assist the video production team.

This person is someone with a passion for helping businesses grow by expanding their marketing efforts. The ideal candidate must have a strong internal motivation and be confident when taking initiative. They must be a quick learner, a risk-taker, a goal-setter, and a problem-solver that is comfortable producing innovative products.

Videographer/Editor Responsibilities

  • Ability to light and shoot high-end video, both in-studio and on-location
  • High level of skill in Adobe products including Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Strict attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to keep projects moving toward the final product
  • Ability to work both under strict and little direction
  • Run and maintain an orderly edit suite and adapt to the needs of the environment
  • Exhibit grace under pressure, using the utmost integrity
  • Organized, dependable, and personable
  • Able to directly and professionally interact with clients in meetings or in the field
  • Always looking to improve and expand knowledge
  • Able to give and receive constructive feedback on projects
  • Work with Director of Video Production to storyboard, write scripts, and execute the creative vision of a project

Experience Expectations

  • Bachelor's Degree in Video Production, Film, or Marketing (or a related field) is preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience in videography & video editing is essential; agency experience is preferred
  • Knowledge in our core areas of service is paramount: Custom Video Production, Graphic Design, Content Creation, Digital Marketing
  • Ability and confidence in communicating and articulating marketing concepts, value, and data insights
  • Possess excellent judgment & deep understanding of workflow organization principles and practices
  • Able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining focus and productivity, but knows when to ask for help when needed
