Job description

Job Title: Senior Regional Social Manager

Location: Metro Detroit

Requirement: This position requires a Video Cover Letter be emailed to Marketing@discreplay.com - no applicants without this will move to the interview process. Camera presence, how you hook and who you are on screen is a large portion of this position.

Compensation: $45k-$60k/year based on experience (Cover Letter Video Quality - show us what you're made of :)).

Position Overview:

Disc Replay is seeking a creative, energetic, and highly organized Senior Regional Social Manager to lead the execution of our national social media presence while also supporting local store content. This role will manage Disc Replay’s national social accounts across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, while also producing content for select individual store locations and collaborating with other Regional Social Media Managers to ensure a consistent, cohesive brand ecosystem across all markets.

The ideal candidate is a skilled content creator, social media guru, and on-camera personality who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for gaming, collectibles, and pop culture.

Key Responsibilities:

National Account Management

  • Plan, create, and post engaging content for Disc Replay’s national social media channels (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
  • Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar tied to marketing campaigns, seasonal events, and store promotions.
  • Serve as an on-camera personality for brand videos, product spotlights, and social content when appropriate.

Local Store Content Production

  • Create content for select individual store locations to support local marketing efforts, promotions, and events.
  • Capture in-store video/photo content

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Regional Social Media Managers to guide content creation for other stores and ensure alignment with the national brand strategy.
  • Share best practices, content ideas, and template assets to maintain a consistent look, tone, and feel across all locations.

Community Engagement

  • Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and brand mentions across national and local accounts.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging social media community that reflects Disc Replay’s values and personality.

Performance Tracking

  • Track and report on key social metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth) for both national and local campaigns.
  • Offer insights and recommendations for content optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of social media management experience, preferably in retail, gaming, entertainment, or lifestyle brands
  • Strong video production, editing, and storytelling skills (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Comfortable and confident appearing on-camera and representing the brand in a public-facing role
  • Working knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout, etc.)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across multiple store teams and leadership levels
  • Passion for gaming, pop culture, collectibles, or retro media is highly preferred
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) are a plus
