SUMMARY OF POSITION:

  • Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and create captivating content of the summer camp experience. Create quality pictures and videos that tell the story of summer camp at Grace Adventures.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create digital content consistent with the Grace Adventures standards and mission
  • Complete the course of study during orientation and follow all camp policies
  • Become familiar with the camp staff and grounds
  • Keep spiritually and physically prepared to minister

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Spend time alone with the Lord every day
  • Create and post daily photos of summer camp and campers
  • Create weekly videos for each summer camp session
  • Maintain consistent file organization and workflow
  • Write, storyboard, shoot, and edit short narrative videos for summer camp chapels
  • Interview campers about their experience at camp
  • Attend all staff meetings
  • Fill out all paperwork and turn in before you leave on Friday
  • Work Community Worship as assigned
  • Attend Community Worship if you are on the grounds but not assigned
  • Create other promotional content as assigned by your supervisor(s)

POSITION TYPE: Seasonal

HOUSING & MEALS: Provided throughout contract

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Love for kids and ability to communicate with them
  • Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program. This will involve long hours and lifting at times.
  • Working knowledge of taking photos including exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and basic composition
  • Working knowledge of camera techniques and video editing
  • Team spirit
  • At least 18 years old
  • Organized and detail-oriented
