Position Summary: The Vice President of Strategic Finance plays a critical leadership role in shaping the financial strategy and long-term growth trajectory of the organization. This position is responsible for driving financial planning, analysis, and decision support to enable data-driven strategies that align with corporate objectives. The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate investment opportunities, optimize capital allocation, and manage financial risks. The Vice President will lead the development of financial models and forecasts that inform strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Ultimately, this role ensures the companyโ€™s financial health and competitive positioning through insightful analysis and strategic financial leadership.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic financial plans that support the companyโ€™s growth and profitability goals
  • Oversee comprehensive financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to guide executive decision-making
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team focused on strategic initiatives and financial analysis
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data to influence business strategy and operational improvements
  • Drive the integration of financial planning with business strategy, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and market trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage Enterprise-wide Procurement function which includes negotiating, pricing and accountability for all our vendor relationships. Interface with CNA Parent on 3rd party risk management.
  • Ownership of interactions with field Sales teams, agents and dealerships on Dealer buy-outs for cancellations and retro profit-sharing arrangements. This includes pricing and negotiations these buy-outs with field partners.
  • Ownership of ROI and cost/benefit analysis for projects and initiatives, embedding accountability in our project work to ensure we are investing appropriately across the organization
  • Ownership of Ad-hoc analysis for executive leadership

Education and Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, or investment banking
  • Proven track record of leading financial strategy and analysis in a complex business environment

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
